NIGERIA vs. BELGIUM

The first semifinal of Beijing Olympics is Nigerian vs. Belgium today at 12:00 Cet.

I remember Nigeria U-19 achieved to reach the final against Netherlands. That generation was reinforced and created the success of semifinal in Olympics. Nigeria played against Netherlands in the first game of this tournament, and no matter how hard they tried they could not change the beginning score and ended 0-0. Their second match was against Japan and this time they managed to kick the net and beat their rival 2-1. Their third game was in a final atmosphere as it was a must win game. They were lucky as USA got a red card in the 4th minute. Thus they had a chance to dominate the game and leaded 2-0 until USA had a chance to grab penalty and resulted the final score as 2-1. There is a small note that Nigeria missed a lot of chances in that game and even after 2-1 they created some chances in the last minutes. In the quarter final they were expected to be sent home by Ivory Coast but they mistaken many people and showed a great football by their fast and good players. Nigeria is weak in the control of ball but heir technique is high. They also have a very high percentage of shots on target.

After world and European cup the football federation of Belgium got radical decisions and made massive changes in national team. They were awesome in front of strong Brazil in their first match. But after their first red card their strength got decreased and they could not avoid conceding goal from world football giant Brazil. China and New Zealand was not a serious challenge for them and they managed to send the ball 3 times to the net of these teams and did not concede anything. In the quarter final they were facing much stronger team Italy and they did not begin the game good, as they again got a red card form the referee. In 18th minute Italy leaded the game by a penalty and things became even harder for them but they finished the first half 2-1 even with 10 men. In 74th Italy equalized the game but in 79th minute Belgium kicked the net and named the match 2-3.

Above is the story of both teams in this tournament. I will exercise my option on Nigeria because I believe their players have the ability of kicking the net of any team in this tournament. They are strong in attacks and have the ability of producing high numbers of shots besides they were really good against Ivory. Good luck.

FRENCH LEAGUE 1

O. MARSEILLE vs AUXERRE

Some people think Marseille has a CHL match in the week and they may have trouble in this game, but they already beat their rival 0-1 away and I believe even the second team of Marseille would qualify to CHL in these conditions.

Marseille has the most dangerous forward in French league and I can easily be convinced that they can kick the net of any French team. Niang and Cisse are great couple in front. Last week Gerets had made a mistake in the match against Rennes by taking Ben Afra, Kone, and Niang out of the game when he thought it is a good decision to take his team to back line and secure the result, but Marseille is such a team that once they do not keep the ball in front then they have a serious danger in conceding the goals. Therefore they should always be offensive to their rivals especially when they are at home.

Auxerre is visiting with the challenge of missing players. IMO Auxerre is a plain team of French league. They look like a team whose target is to stay in the first 10 of French League. They beat Nantes last week at their field but they did not play as good enough to convince me. Nantes created a lot of chances but could not manage to score enough to grab a point. Auxerre was lucky due to the Nantes's goal keeper's mistakes.

Eric Gerets the head coach Marseille definitely has the capacity to fix the problems of Marseille as he is one of smartest coach in the world. I remember he was great football player I remember he was a good defender and for him it must be easier to maintenance the defense. He believes that a team with a good defense almost guaranties the victory.

Tonight I am hoping home team Marseille will very hardly concede goal and at least kick 2 times. Kick what? Auxerre's net. Good luck.

TRANZONSPOR vs BRUGGE

This is a very nice bet and the odd for Trabzonspor in 10bet is awesome. Last year I wrote a lot about Ersun Yanal the head coach of Trabzon and criticized him a lot but the biggest reason for that was that the squad of Trabzonspor was not suitable for the style of Ersun as he likes attacking offense football. There is another thing I want to mention especially for those who do not know very much about Turkish football: Trabzon for long time is making their fans upset and upset by disaster performance and the fans eager to watch an exciting Tranzon for long time. From the season tickets sales of Trabzon we understand that the fans are very happy with the new president and glad to see those new names in the stadium. There is a big positive energy. Well I will be honest I will tell you that I do not know very much about Belgium football and very much about Brugge but as far as I know Brugge made a lot of transfers and has a difficulty in establishing the ideal team. I do not think they will be aggressive in this match against Trabzon especially in front of 45000 fans who are crazy for their new team. And especially such a team that is very well motivated. And I am sure they will not take this match as serious as Trabzon players take. They will enjoy Istanbul and maybe do some shopping, maybe they would like to buy some leather textiles which are very good and cheap comparing to Belgium markets. I am just joking sorry.

FRENCH LEAGUE 1

ST. ETIENNE vs SOCHAUX

In the history, home team St. Etienne hosted Sochaux 48 times. In these matches they beat Sochaux 30 times, drew 9 times and lost 9 times. Managed to score 83 goals and conceded 41 goals. I believe home team has the best crowd in French leagues. St. Etienne's performance at home matches in the last years are above the successes of any club in Europe. They conceded 4 goals at home last season in 19 matches. And they managed 43 points in all of those games. Sauget (Nancy), Matsui (Le Mans), Grax (Sochaux) are joined to the team and the strength of St. Etienne got better. It is bad they lost Guarin to Porto. But they saved majority of the team by not selling them. Sall will not be in the squad due to his penalty. St. Etienne lost last week against Valenciennes 1-0 by Danic's penalty goal in 27th minute but I could see St. Etienne was the better team.

Sochaux transferred Faty, Mezague and Alvaro Santos but they lost N'Daw, Grax and Brechet. Gavanon, Daf the defender, and new transfer Alvaro are not playing. Afolabi is doubtful. Sochaux has a serious challenge as these players are necessary for them. Last week in opening game at home against Grenoble they were not very good in the first half but showed a great play in second half and managed to lead the game with the goal of Mevlut the young Turkish striker but dramatically they conceded 2 goals in the last minutes and shocked their fans. I believe placing stakes on home team is one of the best bet on today's matches. Good luck.

KARLSRUHER vs BOCHUM

Karlsruher, the new Bundesliga team, qualified last season and surprised us by a good performance as they managed to collect 43 points. IMO this should be considered as success for a new promoted team anywhere in the world. They will be opening the season at home in front of their great fans. It is bad that they could not keep Eggiman and Hajnal who were the biggest actors of last year. They lost against Bochum last year at home but they were a big trouble for the big teams of Bundesliga at their home field. Too bad that Gorlitz, Mutzel and Unger won't play but striker Kennedy will be there ready to kick the net of Bochum. Bochum could be able to keep most of their players in the club but they did not show a good performance in their prep matches. They only could kick the net 2 times in their last 5 matches. I believe they have serious problems in offense. They are not ready for the new season as they could not be establish their ideal squad and test it enough. The absences of some players will make Bochum's attacking ways weaker. René Renno (goal keeper) will be absent due to a torn ligament. Danny Fuchs (midfielder) still suffers from a serious inflammation of a tendon in his foot. Joel Epalle (forward, striker) will not be fit against Bochum because of severe problems with his toe. Sinan Kaloglu (forward, striker) had to take part in an analysis of his way of running and will have to wear shoe lifts in future - regarding his fitness he will have to be brought up to the competition. Due to an infection, Marcin Mieciel the forward, striker was not able to take part in all training sessions this week. According to the head coach he is doubtful as Koller said "He took part in today's training, but we will have to wait for tomorrow to be sure about his state of health". Well I also want to mention a little about the last match of Bochum against Munster. It was a very stressful for Bochum as they could not be able to burst in 120 minutes and had to go for penalties. Munster did well in counter attack and scared the fans of Bochum.

I believe Karlsruher has enough chance to beat Bochum in their first match of the season. I do not believe Bochum can grab 3 points today, as also the fans of Karsruher will motivate their teams like they always did in last season against their Bundesliga rivals. Good luck.

THIS OPENING GAME OF BUNDESLIGA MIGHT BECOME A BLACK FRIDAY FOR MUNICH FANS

Allianz Arena is a very beautiful stadium of Germany which was constructed especially for the ex World Cup. Bayern played 51 matches at this stadium and only lost three of it. Bayern M., I believe is the best team and club of Bundesliga but I can see they will have a very difficult start to the season as they have serious errors in their defense. A team who concede 3 goals from Erfurt in Cup game can not easily beat Hamburger especially with plenty of important missing and especially such a well prepared team Hamburger. I am sure Klinsmann is very nervous for this opening game as there are so many factors that cause challenge for him to beat their rival. I do not like his career in being trainer or coach even though he was an awesome player. I can not call him successful as he could not make his national team the world champion especially when they played at home and especially when the team had maximum motivation. Well Hamburger had a very good prep period and they have no serious squad problem or they have no crisis. If you check their team players you will notice there so many world class ones. Martin Jol the new coach of Hamburger came from Tottenham was very positive in the press meeting as he said ""If we concentrate on our strengths and put Bayern under pressure we have a good chance. We are well prepared" He will want do something good in his first formal match in Bundesliga. Well also there is good news for away team that Vincent Kompany the Belgium defender returned to the team on last Wednesday. If he had not forgotten his passport he wouldn't miss his flight and could join his team mates a day earlier. I think it will be a very hard game for both teams but if Hamburger controls the game and keeps their tempo high enough than this match can be a nightmare for B. Munich. Being honest I can not see a home win here. Beating Hamburger is a very difficult task. Especially with many missing and especially when Hamburger is in good shape and especially when B. Munich has serious errors in defense. Besides, there is a very strange record of Hamburger at this stadium. Also Klinsmann does not give me confident as much as the Dutchman of Hamburger. The managers of Besiktas Sinan Engin and Yildirim Demiroren should resign as they have no idea about modern way of managing a football club. But anyway Besiktas is a good team as they had good results in prep period. The only negative matter was the fight between Ibrahim U. and Ibrahim T. But fortunately they are both forgiven by the management and will remain in Besktas. I red on newspaper today that they are both in Mostar together with their friends. I think this is a very good development for Besiktas as they are both chilled out and will behave better and also other players in the squad will be more careful. The result of their fight made Matias Delgado the new captain of the squad, and this match will be his first formal one as a leader of his team. It is a great news that he is fit and ready for this match as I believe he is the best player of this team.

In history Besiktas played 9 qualifying games and managed 7 of them as a success. In last 5 European qualifications they eliminated their opponents but could not beat their rivals in last 4 away matches consecutively.

A good thing about this bet is that Besiktas does not look down on their rival. Assistant trainer Mutlu Topcu reported that Siroki Brijeg is not a simple team and it is important to concentrate on this match 90 minutes as they are a real football team and can kick Besiktas's net easily if Besiktas does not take them serious. I was happy to hear this as taking the matches easy is a sick part of Turkish teams.

I know home team is not a joke and has 5 Brazilian but their name is Brazilian only as I searched and found out they are average Brazilians. I think this is a nice bet as I believe Shalke is the best team of Bundesliga after B. Munich. Fred Rutten is brought from Twente as a coach. I believe he will bring a noticeable success to the German team. Good thing about Shalke is that they did not loose major players, they only sold Larsen to Toulouse. Unlike their performance in their domestic league Aalborg is something different in European cups IMO. Last year they managed to take Sampdoria out of the UEFA competition and played in group of Anderlecht-Totthenam-Getafe and saved 4 points. PARTIZAN vs FENERBAHCE

Fenerbahce was the rising sun of Europe as they qualified to quarter final CHL. They have got the best stadium in Turkey as UEFA cup final of this season will be held in their stadium Sukru Saracoglu in Istanbul Turkey. Last year they had Roberto Carlos from Real Madrid but he had injury problem and could not help Fenerbahce in CHL enough. Carlos is fit and played very good in last 2 formal games against Budapest. Fenerbahce brought Aragones the ex coach of Spanish national team. I like this man because he is much better than ex coach of Fenerbahce the legendary Zico. He brought discipline to Fenerbahce and shaken up the players. Additional to this Guiza last year's Spainish top goal scorer was joined. Fenerbahce has a very good striker called Semih who was awesome in EC 2008. He just scored 4 goals away to Budapest in CHL match which was played last week. They kept the good defender Lugana no matter how Juve tried to transfer him with high offers. Fenerbahce is like a bomb. Let's see what they will do this year in CHL as they have everything necessary to reach at least to semi final. As far as I know Partizan called their players who are in China due to their suspended players and injuries. Comparing to Fenerbahce they are 4 times cheaper with the cost. They played against Baku before they qualified and they spent lots of energy to achieve it. I believe Fenerbahce will at least not loose and even beat Partizan no matter how crazy fans they have. TWENTE vs ARSENAL

Arsenal is one of the best team of English premier and they always do something in either UEFA or CHL. Arsenal was very good in friendly games. They play very fast with nonstop energy and have quite enough stars in their squad. They made a great transfer SAMIR NASRI. I believe they are more than enough for the new season. Twente sold very important 2 midfielders Engelaar and El Ahmadi. Twente lost their Dutch coach even though he had a contract until 2009. Shalke paid half million of compensation to Twente and snatched their coach. I believe Arsenal will beat Twente 2 times and qualify where they rule. Good luck.

SH. DONETSK vs D. ZAGREP

Sh.Donetsk made very good transfers as the fans except good results in CHL. They brought Ishchenko (Karpaty) and Moreno (Cruzerio). Sh.Donetsk had a very good prep period and managed to win 6 of their 7 games. They only lost to Fenerbahce but they were away and had to be ready for their league game which was up coming. They could not qualify from the group matches in CHL last year but they showed good signals with good football they played. I want to say something about the coach of home team: I think Lucescu is one of the best coach in the world as he has a high football intelligence. D. Zagreb with lower quality and worse squad can not manage to grab any point from this serious away game in Ukraine. Luka Modric is in Premier League now. Good luck.

GALATASARAY vs STEAUA B.

Galatasaray is suffering from the injured players for a very long time and we still could not watch the real team with full squad. They did not show a good performance in their prep matches. This team has a challenge in scoring as they have so many matches won by 1-0. Too bad Umid Karan the Turkish striker is not fit for this game, but Nonda will be in the squad. Galatasaray still has very good players as most of them played in EC 2008 and proved their quality. Galatasaray is excepted to play with Aykut Sabri Meira Servet Hakan Balta Hasan Sas Mehmet Topal Ayhan Lincoln Arda Nonda. Steaua B. is excepted to play with Zapata Golanski Goian Ghionea Nesu Nicolita Lovin Dayro Radoi Toja Arthuro. Away team has a great history record but their strength is not as it was used to be and Galatasaray is 4 times more expensive than this team. Galatasaray with a better squad and with great home advantage is my absolute favorite in this match. Good luck.

Eric Gerets had made great change on Marseille after he had taken over. Everyone knows how he had taken this team from bottom to top. Last week they played against Rennes and caused me loose my stakes by the score of 4-4. They conceded a very late goal from home team and drew. The injured defend players of Marseille Hilton and Rodriguez maybe the reason why they conceded so many goals. Unfortunately Bakary Kone is doubtful for this game as he got injured in last game at 56th minute. Brann managed to take Ventspils out and deserved to qualify. But they really made a lot of effort to achieve this. Brann is struggling in the middle of the Norwegian league. They have 5 looses in their last 7 formal games. There is a big quality different between these 2 teams. Brann has limited capacity. I will exercise my option on away team Marseille. Good luck

The Brazilian media said that Preta made a show last game against Parana. That was the 5th victory for Preta at home in a row. FIORENTINA vs SLAVIA PRAGUE

It has been long time Florentina is not performing in CHL and this match is not a joke for them. I know some of the Florentina players are in China for the Olympic Games but Florentina has a large squad with very talented players. Florentina is like a bomb to explode. Florentina was one of the most sparkling club in transfer period. They spent 8 million Euros for only 18 years old Jovetic from Partizan. It is a great job that they could keep Adrian Mutu in the team even though so many tried to snatch this player. Also Gilardino will play for this club in next season. Slavia Prague could only enter CHL once in their history which was last year. I do not like the previous records of Slavia Prague. From my point of view it is a miracle for away team to grab something from this qualification. Therefore I will recommend home team to win with AH -1.25. Good luck.
